16th–17th Century
Origins & Early Foundations
Marske Hall is believed to have been established in the late 16th or early 17th century as a substantial country house set within the rural landscape of what is now the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Constructed using local stone and traditional craftsmanship, the Hall reflected both the status of its early owners and a deep connection to the surrounding land.
