Marske Stables is situated up north in The Yorkshire Dales National Park. It’s a hidden jewel tucked away near Richmond, offering stylish and contemporary interiors, beautiful untouched scenic views, and mountains of history.

With ties to equestrian times & the horse racing world, The Stables was home to Marske who was a dependant of the Darly Arabian horses brought to the UK by a Yorkshireman. Marske sired the undefeated 18th Century thoroughbred racehorse Eclipse who is in the bloodline of 98% of all thoroughbred races horses. Our luxury cottages are named after some of these racehorses such as Red Rum, Eclipse, Frankel, Northern Dancer to name a few.

Today Marske Stables has been preserved and restored, celebrating its impressive history offering 10 incredible cottages all furnished to impeccable standards along with a beautiful event space filled with contemporary charm and uniqueness. Marske Stables is truly a venue like no other.
